Privatbrauerei Eichbaum - Eichbaum Apostel Bräu Pilsener |
---|
Brewed by | Privatbrauerei Eichbaum (Mannheim, Baden-Württemberg) | ABV | 5 % | Master tasting notes and other info | Apostel Bräu opened as a brewery named Zu den Zwölf Apostel ("To the Twelve Apostles") in the city of Worms in 1713. The brewery has developed further over the centuries using high standards, fine raw materials and state-of-the-art technology and since 1923 it has been owned by Eichbaum. One thing has never changed - the beer's full bodied character, due to the traditional brewing and filtering process first employed in the monastic brewhouse.
Apostel Bräu is a light gold colour Pilsener. It has a malt biased aroma with some citrus and floral hop notes. The taste is well balanced, initially of sweet malt then a dry bitter finish. |
