Dark Star | Critical Mass | 7.8 | Strong in colour and flavour. Mashed with dark, roasted barley malts balanced by the Challenger and East Kent Golding hops. Also known as Critical Mess!
Mrs Otto says
Pours nice ruby-red with a fine, staying, creamy beige head. Aroma has toasted caramel, chocolate, mildly vinious, blackberries, figs. Low carbonation, fine oily and fat mouthfeel. Flavour is pleasant, chocolate, light tar, blackberries (the sweet ones). Fat maltiness, vinious and warming. Lovely, staying malty bitterness. Yum. | Durham | White Stout | 7.2 | Rebirth of a 200 year old beer style. | Green Jack | Ripper | 8.5 | Gold medal winning rich amber and warming barley wine. | Phoenix | Wobbly Bob | 6 | A BBBB classic strong ale often referred to as "Bobbly Wob". |
