Fool Hardy - Risky Fool Hardy - Risky Brewed by Fool Hardy (Stockport, Cheshire) ABV 4.4 % Tasting notes An easy drinking pale ale with a good balance of hops, subtle hints of citrus and a well rounded finish. Mrs Otto says This is a beautiful pale ale with a good balance between the hops and the subtle underlying citrus flavour. These two Fool Hardy ales are usually only available at the Hope Inn, Stockport, so make the most of this opportunity to try them both. Recommendations If you like this beer, why not try these other similar beers as well. Remember though that beer has taste, so while they are similar beers they will all taste different. Some you will like, others you may not. Ask for a taste first if you aren't sure. Alechemy Bad Day At The Office 4.5 Had a bad day at the office? Then time to quaff a couple of this great anti-stress beer and have a good night at the BBBB. Art Brew Now Beer 6.5 An odd flavour of mildly spicy tea, like Lapsang Souchong, but it's not that and it's more peppery. Touch of marmalade leads to a dry finish. Quite enjoyable in a strange way. Mrs Otto says Your taste buds will have a party with this beer! There's an underlying spiciness and a lovely hoppy kick. Very nice. Bank Top Blonde 5 A very pale ale with pleasant woody flavour and distinct berry aroma. Cheshire Brewhouse Cheshire Gap 3.7 A session pale ale. Challenger hops with a New World hop twist. East London Jamboree 4.8 A golden summer ale using English hops throughout, in particular Bramling Cross. Fernandes Ale to the Tsar 4.1 A pale, smooth, well-balanced beer with some sweetness leading to a nutty, malty and satisfying aftertaste. Hopstar Lancashire Gold 4 Well balanced brew with Maris Otter malt and a blend of English and American hops. J.W. Lees Manchester Pale Ale 3.7 Yellow beer with floral citrus and malt aroma. Moorhouses Blonde Witch 4.5 Light gold fruity beer with a lasting finish. Moorhouses Ice Witch 4.3 Clear gold with a fruity aroma and floral citrus taste. Oakham JHB 3.8 Another BBBB classic bitter. Ossett Silver King 4.3 Silver King has won many prestigious awards. This lager-style beer has a crisp, dry flavour and a fruity, citrus aroma. Prospect Silver Tally 3.7 A clean, pale golden yellow beer with citrus aromas, a dry bitter sweet balance and full hop flavour. Wilson Potter Bon Don Doon 4.2 A refreshing blonde beer made with Columbus and Perle hops.
