Formby Hall Community Trust (Atherton) Limited
The objective of this Charity is to raise funds on behalf of the community, and support local projects which will enrich the lives of the community through various activities including music, sport, education, hobbies and pastimes.The Charity has already helped the Atherton Library Group, Atherton Carnival, the Scouts, Leigh and Atherton Homing Pigeon Society, South Lancashire Amateur Radio Club, Atherton and Leigh Amateur Swimming Club and the Atherton Business Partnership.Councillor Norman Bradbury the Chair of the Formby Hall Community Trust said “ I can’t emphasise enough the future importance of the Trust in raising funds for endangered Community Projects, as other sources of income dry up and I would urge individuals, to pledge a regular donation of £1 per month, with gift aid this equates to £14.40 per annum. If 1,000 individuals sign up this will raise £14,400per annum to help much need projects in Atherton and  the local area.Charity begins at home, every penny raised will be spent locally. Please help your local community and pledge a pound, not much is it but just think what  can be achieved with it.
