Post fermentation we aged Riddler for three months on fruit selected to complement the character of the base beer– plums for tanginess, cherries for tartness, and roasted figs (kindly provided by local beer aficionado, Tim Lloyd) for a touch of figgy sweetness.

The result is a well-structured beer with saturated berry flavour, a pleasing dryness, and subtle spicing evocative of a comforting mug of gluhwein.

Birrificio Italiano	Lurago Marinone (CO), Lombardia	Birrificio del Ducato VIÆMILIA	5	Bottom fermented and golden yellow. There is an a floral hoppy aroma due to the use of Tettnang Tettnanger blooming hop variety personally selected during harvest time. The finish is sharp with a hoppy bitterness and hints of acacia honey.

Moersleutel	Alkmaar, North Holland	Moersleutel Crank the Spring	6	Crank the Spring is an homage to the slow return of the sunlight and the blossoming of new flowers. It starts with the beloved Crank the Juice recipe which then has a few tweaks. This special edition swaps out some hops and added Sabro, infusing the brew with an almost minty freshness.
Paulaner	Munich	Paulaner Hefe-Weissbier	5.5	The #1 wheat beer in Germany. Naturally cloudy, starting with a bit of sweetness and then becoming beautifully crisp and refreshing. If you have never tried a wheat beer this is the one to start with. Vegan Friendly

Schneider Weisse	Kelheim, Bavaria	Schneider Weisse Hopfenweisse Weizendoppe	8.2	Speciality wheat beer which shows how far wheat beer can go. Created by the crazy idea of a transatlantic brewing project between Garrett Oliver (brewmaster at Brooklyn Brewery, New York) and Schneider brewmaster Hans-Peter Drexler. An intense floral aroma or tropical fruits and pineapple. A fruity sweetness met with a big zing of hops. This is an extreme wheat beer with more of everything.
Sierra Nevada	Chico, California	California IPA	4.2	California IPA is a variant of Sierra Nevada’s wonderful 3 Weight brew. It’s pale gold and easy drinking. Brewed with a combination of Simcoe, Crystal, and Chinook hops it is packed full of citrus and pine hoppy lovliness. The perfect beer for a day’s fishing trip, or an evening in a roller rink.
